Celebrating 70 Years

For almost 70 years, Gregg County has celebrated the best of its agricultural and artistic talents with the Gregg County Fair. It started in 1949 by the Jaycee chapter in the area. This year, the fair will be held September 7 through September 15 and is guaranteed to be fun for the whole family. There will be carnival rides and games, shopping, booths for local artisan wares, delicious fair food, and live music.

Admission Cost

Daily admission is $6 per person. Admission is free for children under three, senior citizens over 60, military members and their immediate families. There are also ride armbands and ride coupons available. Every day there will bring something new to experience at the fair. Some of the daily events include a Blazing Buffalo Wild Wing Challenge, a petting zoo, a corn eating contest, pig races, Zumba, a “Fit at the Fair” fitness competition, and a watermelon eating contest. If you know someone in the Miss Gregg County Pageant, it will be held September 13.

Live Music At The Gregg County Fair

You can also hear lots of live music with performances from a variety of bands. KOPASTETIC will be playing on September 7, Jericho March on September 8, Jake Ward on September 10, and the Cody Wayne Band on September 15.
