Visit Longview’s Haunted Library in 2018
Looking for something to do this Halloween season here in our great town of Longview? Believe it or not, our local library offers a truly spooktacular event called Longview’s Haunted Library—a family-friendly event that all ages will love.
This year, the Haunted Library will be open on October 19th and October 20th from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. During that time, the library as you know it will not be the same. Instead, it will be transformed into Longview’s best haunted house—or library, to be precise.
The event continues to grow in popularity each year. The library estimates that more than 3,000 patrons come every year. That has encouraged the library to think bigger and spookier this season.
The cost is minimal: $2.00 for adults and $1.00 for children 12 and under; cash and cards are accepted. All proceeds benefit the Friends of the Longview Public Library, which is a nonprofit organization that will be using the proceeds to support and develop more children’s programs at the library and purchase new library books.
While you can purchase tickets at the event, head to the library to get yours early. Doing so will get you line priority. Either way, be sure to get there by 7 p.m. The event is a popular one, so you must get there by 7:00 for guaranteed entry.
To get there on time, head over in a new vehicle from Crown Kia of Longview.
